ORGANIC AVOCADO OIL
The fruit is left to ripen once picked. The oil content of the fresh pulp is 30%. The unrefined oil is pressed from green to red-brown with characteristic odour, high in chlorophyll. The refined oil is light yellow, bright and almost odourless. Low viscosity oil. Ratio of oleic acid / palmitic 3:1. It is characterized by its high content of unsaponifiables (squalene, sterols, phytosterols …), lecithin, vitamins A, D and E mainly. The sterol content improves the penetration of oil into the deep layers of the skin.
One of the most easily absorbed oils. Improves the water retention capacity by tissues, has a wetting effect and promotes moisturizing. According to some studies the presence of phytosterols and sterolins induces the production of collagen contributing in delaying skin ageing and staining and increasing elasticity.
It is mainly applied to dry, dehydrated, mature and sun damaged skin. It is used used in facial, body and hair formulations. Used for skin peeling such as eczema, stretch marks and cracks. Its high content of vitamin E, antioxidants, prevents skin aging. Highly emollient (smoothes and softens the skin).
