Borage oil is obtained from the seeds of borage (Borago officinalis L.), a plant that grows mainly in the western Mediterranean. The oil content of the seed is 34%. The refined oil is light yellow, bright and is almost odourless.
Oil rich in gamma-linolenic fatty acid, more than 18%, of the major vegetable oils. Provides excellent skin hydration and elasticity. Recommended for use against ageing and cell regeneration given that the active ingredients of the oil are involved in numerous physiological processes.
Primarily used as a facial cosmetic lotions or cleansing milk, applied daily.
