Description
Rapeseed oil is obtained from the seeds of rapeseed (Brassica napus L. / Brassica rapa L.) a shrub that is grown mainly in Europe, Canada, China and the U.S.
There is an oil content of 30-40% in the seed.
Blown rapeseed oil is obtained through a physical process of thermal oxypolymerization, which increases the viscosity and surface activity. Various levels of viscosity can be obtained.
The final product is dark brown and oily.
